At K08 we do not let our guard down on security because it is a priority for us. At the beginning of the year we announced that 2020 would bring news that we haven’t announced yet due to the stoppage of activity caused by the Covid 19 health crisis. Finally, the works for the commissioning of a new system for the removal of silica dust from work clothes have already been completed.
Within a short period of time, employees will begin using air showers for decontamination at the end of their workday. Thus, almost 100% of the suspended dust that is registered in the warehouse and deposited on the clothing and equipment of the staff during the work day, can be eliminated.
This is one more action, added to the prevention measures already in use in the work area of each operator and those of individual protection, whose common objective is to stop the incidence of occupational diseases.
