Recent data about statistics of slate exportation, provided by the Cluster da Pizarra de Galicia, show an interanual rise of 5% regarding to data of previous exercise. 
In general, France has increased its imports by more than 8,500 tons, which is 5% more than in 2018. This puts the country at the top of the list, with a total of 175,031 tons.
UK shows the same increase as its predecessor, 5%, and numbers rise to 125,523 tons. Germany, third country in the ranking, bought 55.153 tons, increasing the percentage by 4% then.
If we speak about billing, France increases quantity in 7 million euro, standing close to 100 million, while UK goes to 3 more million euro, with almost 62 million euro. Follow it Germany with almost 32 million euro. This are quantities that make us think that Valdeorras has much to do, an area from which 90% of this product is extracted worldwide.
