February is the month chosen by first visitants to know our facilities and the elaboration process of our slate K08. This first group was moving from Nantes, France to make the first visit of many more that we expect to receive this year.
They began the tour in the quarry, located at almost 1,300 meters of altitude, where they knew closely the processes of stone extraction. After an intense morning and a meal in our dining room, they visited the factory to learn about the processes of making the board.
Impressed by the manual techniques used, the hardness of work, the precision and handling of each operator’s tools, they concluded their experience by valuing from another perspective, a product from which they now know their origin.
